Italian American Bar Association of Michigan
IABAM will participate in the Affinity Bar Challenge, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Pops Italian, 280 W. 9 Mile, Ferndale. This year, 8 bar associations are participating (which includes IABAM). Attendees will “vote” for their favorite bar association by donating money to that organization. The organization that gets the most votes will win the money, with all proceeds donated to that organization’s charity. This year, Judge Laura Polizzi is the guest judge, and if IABAM wins, all proceeds go to the charity called Saves: www.savesproject.com
Italian American Cultural Center
The Italian American Cultural Society will host the Feast of St. Joseph Mass and Dinner at the club, 43843 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Twp. A Mass begins the evening at 6 p.m. Dinner will immediately follow. A special blessing will be given to all men named Joseph. Dinner will include St. Joseph soup, garden salad, pasta con sardi, fried cod, asparagus frittata, fresh stuffed artichokes and spingi. St. Joseph feast Day will be celebrated on at the 6 p.m. Mass. Immediately following the Mass will be a celebration with the traditional St Joseph Soup.
