FRIDAY, OCT. 30
Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan
The Dante presents their book club at 3:30 p.m., using a hybrid format, with in-person and online availability. Because the meeting is in Italian, a suggested level B1 Italian is needed. Discussion will start with Cinzia Giorgio’s “Wild Daughters” and enter the female world of the 17th century, an era in which superstition, fear and prejudice could profoundly affect a woman’s life. It is not necessary to have read the book but encouraged. Facilitated by Daniela D’Amico Henderson, the event will be held at 30100 Telegraph Rd., Ste. 322, Bingham Farms (east entrance). For details and to register, visit dantemichigan.org and click on “Events.”

Children are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes if they wish. Pizza will be served. Presented as part of the 2026 Week of the Italian Language in the World, through the Education Office of the Consulate General of Italy in Chicago and the Consulate of Italy in Detroit, in collaboration with Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan.
